The 200 Club of Essex County presented Valor Awards to Irvington Police Department Detective Bilal Johnson, Detective Tehran Young, and Officer Paul Noel for their bravery, professionalism and teamwork during a life-threatening incident on Sept. 7, 2018; the arrest of an armed robbery suspect who had threatened to shoot them with his semi-automatic handgun.
The Valor Awards ceremony took place on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Nanina’s In The Park, Belleville, NJ.
